Nestled in Shen’ao Village, Tonglu County, Eight Blessings Inn sits within the greater Hangzhou area, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by heritage and countryside charm. Access is convenient via China’s well-established highway and railway network.

By High Speed Rail, the Inn is approximately 15–25 minutes by taxi from Tonglu Station or Tonglu East Station.

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport serves as the nearest major airport, with around 70 mins onward access by taxi or car transfer into Tonglu. This makes the Inn well connected for both international and domestic travelers seeking a slower pace getaway outside the city.

"An absolutely wonderful experience, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting an old friend's home. The overall design, from the exterior to the interior decor, seamlessly blends with the ancient village aesthetic. The vintage furniture, homemade bookshelves, meticulously cared-for greenery, dinnerware, and even the condiment bottles all showcase the owner's thoughtful attention to detail – simple yet sophisticated. The bedding in the room, from the color scheme to the comfort, is top-notch, and even the coat hooks and towel racks are refreshingly unique. Breakfast was simple and delicious, made with authentic local ingredients. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, offering attentive yet never intrusive service. This is truly what a B&B should be like."

"This boutique hotel is a true gem in Jiangnan. The village is beautifully developed, preserving its old-world charm with many historical houses, while blending in modern, cultural, and creative vibes, with well-paved streets, trendy cafés, tea houses, and many boutique shops. The Inn is tucked away in a quiet part of the village. It’s a over-300-year-old house that has been thoughtfully restored with modern amenities, while carefully retaining the original character of the historical building in a beautiful Wabi-Sabi style. The restaurant’s omakase homemade dinner was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Staying here feels like a peaceful retreat. It's like coming home."
